Saturday, May 8, 2010 Street Life Ministry held it's first board meeting to select it's Board of Directors and elect officers. The following Monday Non-Profit incorporation paperwork was mailed--the next step of what began as a vision in the hearts of Roger and Kim Mitchell in 2006.
At one time homeless and hopeless, Roger was delivered from a destructive lifestyle in June of 2003. God instilled in him a heart for helping those still bound.
Roger and Kim met at the wedding of Kim's son in June of 2005. They discovered they shared a common bond and on April 1st 2006, over dinner, Roger shared his story with Kim. Their hearts were sealed together. In June of 2006 Roger and Kim began building relationships with the homeless men and women in the North Houston area. They married in December of 2006 and set forth fulfilling their vision reaching out to their friends who live on the streets with the love of Christ.
